GENERAL ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2015

GREATER CLARK SCHOOLS REFERENDUM

The following public question will appear on the November 3, 2015 General Election Ballot.

Shall the Greater Clark County Schools issue bonds or enter into a lease to finance the 2015 Multi-Facility Safety, Security, Technology, Construction and Restoration Project, which will consist of the renovation of many existing school facilities and the construction of improvements, including safety improvements, additions and new school facilities, and the installation of technology at new and existing facilities, and is estimated to cost not more than $109,200,000 and is estimated to increase the property tax rate for debt service by $0.3927 per $100 of assessed valuation?

CLARKSVILLE COMMUNITY SCHOOL CORPORATION

DISTRICT ONE: Area in School Corporation north of B & O Railroad bordered by Eastern Blvd and Blackiston Mill Road on the east, the Town boundary on the west.  Includes Blackiston Hgts, Beechwood Manor and area on both sides on Highway 131

DISTRICT TWO: Area bordered by B&O Railroad on the north, Eastern Blvd. on the west, the Town boundary on the east, and Little League Park on the south. Includes Hallmark Heights.

DISTRICT THREE: Area in School corporation south of B & O Railroad, bordered by Eastern Blvd. on the east, Highway 62 on the west and north side of Bowne Blvd. on the south.

DISTRICT FOUR: Area bordered by Town boundary on east and west. Highway 62 between Town boundary and Bowne Blvd., south side of Bowne Blvd. and south side of Little League Park on the north including Cambridge Apartments, and north side of Norwood Ave. on the south

DISTRICT FIVE: Area bordered by the south side of Norwood Ave. on the north, Ohio River on the south, and the Town boundaries on the east.

DISTRICT THREE: Part of Silver Creek Precinct 5. Includes Silver Creek Precinct 4. All of Silver Creek/Clarksville Precinct 43. 


Borden-henryville school corporation

DISTRICT ONE: Monroe Precincts 1 & 3, plus the territory east of Pixley Knob Rd. to Mountain Grove Cemetery Rd. and east of Mountain Grove Cemetery Rd. to the Union Township Line. 

DISTRICT TWO: All of Union Township plus the territory of Monroe Township that is west of Pixley Knob Rd. to Mountain Grove Cemetery Rd. and west of Mountain Grove Cemetery Rd. 

DISTRICT THREE: All of Wood Township plus part of Carr Township. 

Carr Township areas to Remain with Borden-Henryville include: -West areas of Hwy. 111 to the Floyd County line -East areas of Hwy. 111 to the Silver Creek Township line -East and west areas of Old Hwy. 111 to the Silver Creek Township line. -South side of Hwy. 60 from the intersection of Hwy. 111 to the Silver Creek Township line. -West areas of Bennettsville Road -East areas of Bennettsville Rd. from Greenbriar Blvd. (outside the town limits of the Town of Sellersburg as of 5/29/2020) to the Silver Creek Township line and continuing North -Sunset Hills Dr. Starlight Court, -Deer Lake Dr., Sunnybrook Dr., Early Sunset Dr., Serenity Dr. and Horizon Dr. -Remainder of Carr Township to Wood Township, to Union Township, and to Silver Creek Township.

Absentee voting by mail

Note: In Indiana, ballots are NOT mailed to every registered voter. A Voter must submit an absentee ballot application and it must be processed by the absentee board prior to mailing a ballot. Voting absentee is safe, convenient, and secure.

Option 1 - Online

Apply for an absentee ballot online at Indianavoters.com. The absentee application is immediately received and we print out your application. This is the fastest, easiest and most  secure way to request a ballot by mail. No printer, postage or delay. 

    1. Go to Indianavoters.com 
    2. Click on the blue box that says "Apply Online / Get Forms" and proceed to "Visit My Portal"

Option 2 - Paper Application

Print out and complete the absentee ballot application form and mail it to Clark County Voter Registration at 501 E. Court Avenue, Jeffersonville, IN. If you prefer you may hand deliver your application to the Voter Registration office. Click below to get your application.

Option 3 - Request By Phone

Call the Voter Registration office at 812.285.6329 to request an absentee ballot application and one will be mailed to you.

Early IN-Person Voting

Anyone who is a registered voter in Clark County may come to Voter Registration located at 501 E. Court Avenue, Jeffersonville, IN to cast their vote early. All voters will be required to provide an Indiana State issued ID to vote.  Please feel free to call 812-285-6329 if you have any questions regarding voting early in person.

IN-PERSON EARLY VOTING SCHEDULE

  • Tuesday – Friday, April 9th – April 12th, 2024 (9:00am - 4:00pm)
  • Monday-Friday April 15th – May 3rd, 2024 (9:00am - 4:00pm)
  • Saturdays: April 27th and May 3th, 2024 (9:00am - 4:00pm)
  • May 6th – Monday, 9:00am - 12:00pm (noon) ONLY
