General Information

The Clark County Regional Water and Sewer District was created December 9, 1999 by an order signed by Lori Kaplan, Commissioner of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.

The District encompasses the former Indiana Army Ammunition Plant and 1,500 foot corridor that extends northwest along the east side of Bethany Road to IN Road 403.

The County plans for a private company, AquaSource, to manage the District's operations. AquaSource has a long-term lease for water and sewer facilities within the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant.

IDEM's order indicates that sewer tap in fees for existing residents are anticipated to be between $1,500 and $2,500. Average monthly rates are expected to be between $35 and $40.
